Best Friends Animal Society Advocate to Speak in Orangeburg | Crime and courts

Best Friends Animal Society legislative counsel Kelsey Gilmore-Futeral will be the guest speaker at the upcoming community meeting hosted by Orangeburg County Animal and Code Enforcement Services. This is the third meeting held by the representatives of the department.

The meeting will be held at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, August 30 at the Orangeburg County Public Library Conference Center, located at 1645 Russell Street in Orangeburg.

The meeting organizers invite community partners, volunteers and interested parties to attend.

Those present will be able to share their comments and suggestions during the meeting.

Gilmore-Futeral is a former South Carolina State Director for the Humane Society of the US

She now works as a legislative attorney for the Best Friends Animal Society, handling legislative and policy issues in 19 states.
