Black Dog Animal Rescue (BDAR) Adoptable Animals – August 18, 2022 | Lifestyles

by Jackson adoptive mom says he is the sweetest, funniest and most affectionate dog in the world. He is eccentric and will do anything for your love and affection. Some of his favorite activities include taking walks, cuddling, and retrieving all the toys…although he won’t drop them when asked.

He was great with children, teenagers and adults. He loves other dogs, and other dogs help him when his humans are away. Jackson worked tirelessly to be the best dog he could be!

He is currently taking anti-anxiety medication to help him deal with life’s difficulties. New adopters should be aware that he needs to take medication during the transition to a new home and for a while to help him settle in.

When left at home, Jackson will need to be tracked in a screened kennel and should be in an area where he can see other dogs.

Miller Adoptable Dog

Miller has a cute gray face that wins you over in the blink of an eye. He ended up in foster care after his owners moved out and couldn’t take him with them. He is a senior pup and has spent the last ten years of his life being loved. He’s a sweet, gentle old man looking to spend the rest of his days sunbathing and lying in your lap.

Miller likes to take a leisurely stroll and snuggle up at the end of the day. Miller does well in a crate, but if left too long he can have accidents.

He gets along well with other dogs and cats!

King Louie Adoptable Dog

His new skills include ‘sit’, ‘shake’, ‘wave’ and more! King Louie is expected to graduate in early September. He would excel in a home where he could get all the attention or have a furry sister. He just kicks back and relaxes on the couch with his people. If you want to bring royalty into your home, consider meeting Louie! He’s a lover and he can’t wait to prove it to you! Apply to meet him today!

Adoptable dog Abby

at Abby’s host family reports that she is great on a leash, great in the car, and wonderful at greeting strangers. She is also very good in a kennel, but barks a little when left alone.

Abby is a talkative girl and will let you know when she wants something. Whether it’s a scratch behind the ear or a tasty treat, she doesn’t hesitate to let you know her needs. It was abandoned when its owner had to move into an assisted living facility. Abby has spent her entire life being loved and cared for. She is looking for a new home that can promise to do the same.

If you’re looking for a senior pup to go on walks and hang out with all day, Abby is definitely for you!

Beyoncé's Adoptable Cat

This shining star is Beyonce! She is a young kitten trying to recover from an eye infection. She loves to sing for us in the morning for breakfast or to scratch and she’s as sweet as lemonade on a hot day.

You will love this single woman and won’t regret adding her to your family!

Adoptable Freckled Cat

This cute pie is Freckles! Aren’t his ears precious? They really are sitting like that! Freckles has been quiet in his household and hesitant at first to make new friends. It only needs a minute or two before it warms up and gets all the purrs of its new friends. He loves cuddling with our staff and loves rubbing up against you once he’s decided you’re buddies. He even turns around and offers to let you rub his belly.
