Designer dog kennels will be auctioned off to benefit the Arizona Animal Welfare League

From cantilevered ceilings to lavish furnishings, these are some of the most lavish dog houses you will never see.

“This year we have 12 teams or local designers who have teamed up to create unique doghouses that will be auctioned on the night of the event,” said Kimberly Vermillion.

These dog houses will all be auctioned on February 25 at the 8th annual Design for Dogs event in partnership with Facings of America. All money raised will be used to help Arizona Animal Welfare League.

“Our rural rescue programs, our adoptions, our low-cost community and our vaccination clinics,” added Vermillion.

This father and son team from KQ Architects estimates they spent 72 hours designing and building their niche.

“We love the mission of what they do, and we love the opportunity to design and build a home,” said Jack Leonard.

They said all the hard work was worth it, knowing it would make a difference in a pet’s life.

“It’s great that you’ve built something and just know it’s going to help a group of animals that need help,” said Liam Leonard.
