Fujifilm India Announces Collaboration with DCC Animal Hospital to Provide Pet Health Devices, Health News, ET HealthWorld

  • Gurugram, Haryana, December 9, 2021: Fujifilm India Pvt Ltd, a pioneer in medical imaging and diagnostic technologies, recently partnered with A’alda Vet India Pvt Ltd to strengthen pet healthcare facilities. As part of the partnership, Fujifilm India will provide innovative medical and screening devices to DCC (Dogs, Cats & Companions) Animal Hospital, an initiative by A’alda Vet to raise standards of veterinary care in India.

India is one of the fastest growing pet care markets in the world, with more and more people adopting and caring for pets. Therefore, it is becoming increasingly important for people to have better access to nearby pet care facilities that meet global standards. The association was born out of Fujifilm’s commitment to providing access to world-class healthcare to everyone, both humans and pets.

Speaking on the partnership, Mr. Koji Wada, Managing Director of Fujifilm India Pvt Ltd., said, “At the heart of our business ideology are innovations that create value to create a better society. To improve pet health facilities, Fujifilm India will provide its innovative products such as digital x-ray, IVD solutions, endoscopy system and medical informatics to DCC animal hospital. A’alda Vet imagined the DCC Animal Hospital with a vision of “Pet to Partner”, and with these new and innovative medical devices, Fujifilm India supports this vision. Technology in pet health care can make the difference in India to deepen the emphasis on diagnosis and provide treatment on par with human medical services. DCC Animal Hospital is driven by its mission to do this and Fujifilm supports this idea to get the most out of technology and skills for our pets. Since 2019, A’alda Vet has continuously improved the standard of pet health care and veterinary medicine, bringing it closer to access to medical facilities for humans.
