New pet products give back to animal rescues and shelters with every purchase

A new pet products brand is putting a charitable spin on its products, pledging to donate 20% of all sales to animal rescues, starting with its Los Angeles base.

Called give pawsthe brand aims to provide “unique products for cats and dogs that are affordable, functional and durable,” according to a statement.

“Our products meet the practical needs of pet owners and are based on the insights of pet care professionals,” said Gina Castagnozzi, Founder of Giving Paws. “Our mission is to provide premium items that improve the lives of pets and their owners, while giving back to their local animal communities.”

The products offered by Giving Paws were developed by Castagnozzi, who has worked professionally with dogs for over 10 years and has been involved in volunteering at animal shelters and shelters. While volunteering, Castagnozzi observed the many challenges of overcrowding and underfunding these organizations face, which prompted her to find a new way to give back.

Giving Paws products for cats and dogs currently include vegan leather collars and leashes, plant-based dog waste bags, dog bandanas, compostable, plant-based dog waste bag dispensers and plastic-free, as well as original design printed sherpa and polyester fleece blankets. Dog bandana designs include an “adopt me” option, which will be available for purchase to send as gifts to shelters later this summer.
