Supplies, donations needed to Hillsborough, Bridgewater Animal Rescues

HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — Through the volunteer efforts of two local rescue groups, hundreds of animals have been adopted. Now Amwell Animal Rescue Group in Hillsborough and Capic Cats in Bridgewater need the public’s help with supplies and donations.

“We have adopted hundreds of small animals this year. And many kittens and cats as well. Our two rescues have always helped the locals to the best of our abilities with whatever problems they have,” said Hope Valenti of Bridgewater, who also runs Amwell Pet Supply at 434 Route 206 in Hillsborough.

Valenti, an animal lover, also helps CAPIC Cat Rescue and Amwell Animal Rescue Group (AARG)a charitable organization 501C3.

All rescued animals are taken to Amwell Pet Supply where all adoptions are done.

Now both rescue groups need help to continue helping the animals. Valenti said the groups need monetary donations and supplies.

People can make a monetary donation through PayPal at Paypal.me/aargnj. The money received will go towards veterinary visits, care of the sick, supplies, food and treats for the animals.
