Every time “The Power of the Dog” is mentioned at the Oscars, dadan online veterinary service, will donate $10,000 to animal rescues.
Although the movie “The Power of the Dog” unfortunately isn’t about dogs at all, Pawp is taking this opportunity to give back in a fun way. The film leads this year with 12 Oscar nominations. Every time the movie is verbally mentioned at the Oscars, $10,000 will go to animal rescues and the app will donate up to $1 million in total.
Pawp is an online veterinary service app where users can pay a monthly fee for 24-hour on-demand access to licensed veterinarians. Users can chat and make video calls and cover up to six pets. Membership also comes with a $3,000 emergency fund that users can use for an emergency in-person visit and pay $0 out of pocket. They are available on the Pawp website or on a mobile app.
Even if the movie doesn’t win any awards, it’s guaranteed to get some mention. The film is up for Best Picture, Cinematography, Original Score, Sound, Editing and Production Design.
The Oscars will take place March 27, 2022 at 5:00 p.m. PT and 8:00 p.m. ET on ABC and other broadcast networks. I can’t wait to see how much will go to an amazing cause!
